KAES Online System

Welcome to the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station online manuscript submission system.

The KAES is the research component of K-State Research and Extension. The KAES assigns contribution numbers to manuscripts prepared by station scientists for external publication (e.g., journals) and station publications (e.g., annual reports of progress). Authors can also request editing before submitting manuscripts to external publications. Manuscripts published during each fiscal year are listed in the annual KAES Director’s Reports.

On this Web site, KAES faculty can request contribution numbers and editing for manuscripts, submit publication information and update manuscript status once manuscripts are published, and search the database of submitted manuscripts.

KAES editing service is suspended effective March 27, 2015 because the KAES editor has taken a new position with the office of the Vice President for Research. Please contact Publishing Unit Interim Leader Mark Stadtlander at mark@ksu.edu if you have questions. Authors should continue to use the manuscript system to request contribution numbers.

Contact the KAES editor if you’d like to produce a new station publication or inquire about editing for KAES manuscripts that don’t receive a contribution number (e.g., abstracts).
