Description:
The KACAA Spring Workshop includes professional development opportunities for Agricultural Agents that belong to KACAA.  Optional preworkshop activities begin in the afternoon of Wednesday April 22.  Wednesday afternoon activities include a horticulture entomology update followed by historical tours of the Nazareth Convent and Mother House, The Orphan Train Museum, and the Brown Grand Theater.  Agents may also spend the afternoon on the American Legion golf course. The evening of the 22nd is a social gathering and networking opportunity over dinner.
The workshop officially begins on Thursday with KACAA committee meetings, updates from the Kansas Barn Alliance and Kansas Ag Statistics and then will be followed with an afternoon full of educational tours conducted throughout the area that highlight crops, livestock, horticulture, and agribusiness of the River Valley District.  The evening will include a meal and tour at the LCL Buffalo Ranc
