Purpose: The purpose of the 2015 National Health Outreach Conference is to build a collaborative approach with organizations and agencies to achieve a healthier and safer America by promoting health and wellness, advancing health equity and reducing health disparities.

Theme: Promoting Connections to Create Healthy Individuals, Families and Communities
 
Target Audience:
Extension professionals, public health professionals, and others interested in health and wellness. This conference provides opportunities for both both basic and advanced learning.

Description:
Kansas Forest Service, 2610 Claflin Road, Manhattan will host Thomas Warner’s, Professor, Kansas State University retirement celebration event and Ray Aslin, Retired State Forester will moderate / emcee. Plan to attend a tree planting and reception on the occasion of Tom Warner’s retirement as Horticulture, Forestry, and Recreation Resources, Professor of Wildlife & Outdoor Enterprises Management. In honor of Tom’s leadership for HFRR and KFS we will plant a tree and host this celebration at KFS from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015. Please come help us celebrate!
